HERO SETUP GUIDE

Every hero needs a base. This takes about 10 minutes. Do it once and your stats flow onto the board by themselves for all 90 days.

THE ONE RULE OF THIS GUIDE

You only ever share your investor (read-only) password. Never give anyone your master password, not Myfxbook, not us. A read-only password can't place, change or close a trade.

XM ACCOUNT UNDER CODE RRPXP

Open XM with the DanFX link: mikefx34.com/danfx.
Use partner code RRPXP if XM asks for one.

OPEN AN MT5 DEMO WITH $10,000

In your XM Members Area, open a new MetaTrader 5 demo account.
Set the starting balance to $10,000 (USD). Use this account only for the challenge.
XM emails you three things. Keep them: login number, password and server name.

SET YOUR INVESTOR (READ-ONLY) PASSWORD

Log in to the demo on MT5 for desktop (Windows or Mac).
Go to Tools → Options → Server and click Change.
Type your current password, choose Change investor (read only) password, and set a new one.
Log in once with the new investor password to check it works.

If XM already sent you an investor password, you can skip this step.

CONNECT MT5 TO MYFXBOOK

Create a free account at myfxbook.com.
Click your avatar (top right) → Settings → Add Account.
Choose MetaTrader 5 (Auto Update) and fill in:

Account name
R100 YourHeroName (e.g. R100 PipHunter)

Broker / server
XM, with the exact server from XM's email

Account number
Your MT5 demo login

Password
Your investor password

Write down the account name exactly as you typed it, including capitals and spaces. You'll type it again on the entry form, and that's how the board finds you.

MAKE IT PUBLIC AND COPY THE LINK

Open the account in Myfxbook, go to its settings and set privacy to Public. Gain, drawdown and balance must be visible.
Open the account page and copy the link from your browser. It looks like myfxbook.com/members/yourname/r100-piphunter/1234567.

Myfxbook refreshes auto-update accounts every few hours. A new account can show "pending" for a while. That's normal.

FORGE YOUR HERO AND REGISTER

Go to challenge.danfx.africa → Hero Forge and build your hero.
Fill in the entry form with your XM ID, MT5 demo number, Myfxbook account name and the link from step 5.
You'll get an email when you're approved. Your hero shows on the board straight away, and your stats start syncing.

STUCK? QUICK FIXES

"Invalid credentials" on Myfxbook: check that you used the investor password, the right account number and the exact server name.
My stats aren't moving: Myfxbook updates every few hours, and the board refreshes every 10 minutes after that.
I'm approved but show 0%: your Myfxbook account name doesn't match your entry. Reply to your approval email with the exact name.
Rule one of the Playbook: we stay out of the news. No open trades from 15 minutes before to 15 minutes after high-impact releases.
